Jason Victor is a professional destination wedding photographer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He accepts assignments anywhere in the world and has been to cities in the continents of Africa, Europe as well as Asia Pacific, in pursuit and deliverance of his passion for wedding photography. A Master Photographer as qualified by the Master Photographer’s Association (MPA) of the United Kingdom, Jason is truly in love with marriage, weddings and all things to do with them!
His style of Wedding and Portrait Photography is a uniquely woven combination of classic and modern elements. He loves history and through his photography, Jason explores classic architectures and themes while fusing strong shapes and lines into his work. His demeanour warm and pleasant, his approach personable and engaging, Jason transmutes these elements of his style personality into his photography work. And precisely why these images have been acclaimed with such clarity is because of his personal touch, his true desire and happiness at photographing the happy memories of a wedding and marriage.
In his own manner of philanthropy, Jason loves to ‘give back’ to society in any manner that he is able to within the frame of his busy schedule. He believes in karma and feels strongly about issues relating to children, in particular. It was this that lead to his participation in the event, “Snapshots of Support” (a truly remarkable event which was officiated by our nation’s well-loved AIDS activist, Marina Mahathir), together with the Signature Photographers and Just Heavenly, for the sole purpose of raising funds to support children afflicted with AIDS – by contributing his favourite, personal snapshots depicting life and living for sale to the general public. Jason continues to pursue acts of philanthropy.
Another manner in which Jason ‘gives back’ and shares his photography skills and knowledge is through educating photography enthusiasts at the Alvin Leong Academy of Photography (in collaboration with Open University Malaysia). As a teacher of this truly fine art, he finds solace, comfort and gratitude that he is given the opportunity to share and nurture photography enthusiasts.
